About the Coast Redwood
The tallest tree species on Earth. Hyperion stands at 115.9 meters. Can live 2,000+ years. Thick bark (30 cm) makes them fire-resistant. Absorb fog through needles — 30-40% of water from air. 95% logged by 1970s. Can sprout from stumps.
